Data Sources & Removal

Last updated: May 28, 2026

This page explains, in plain language, where Readout’s dental account intelligence comes from and how to request access, correction, or removal. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1Where our data comes from

Readout builds business account intelligence about dental practices and related organizations from public sources that we are permitted to access, such as:

2What we don’t collect

We do not intentionally collect patient records, protected health information (PHI), or consumer medical information. Readout is business account intelligence about dental practices and professional-capacity information about providers and decision-makers — not patient data.

3How we crawl responsibly

We check source policies, including robots.txt where applicable, and do not crawl pages where our crawler is disallowed. We do not intentionally bypass access controls, login walls, paywalls, or technical restrictions. Each material claim in an account readout is tied to the source and evidence behind it, so the basis for a data point can be reviewed.

4Observations, not verified truth

Readout records observations from public sources. A source observation does not necessarily mean a fact is complete, current, or independently verified. We provide evidence-backed intelligence to support sales research — not definitive operational audits — and results should be independently verified before you rely on them.

5Request access, correction, or removal

If you are a dental professional or practice owner and appear in Readout, you may request to access, correct, suppress, or remove information about you, or ask us not to share or contact. Email devon@readoutdental.com and, where possible, include:

We will verify and respond consistent with applicable law and our legal obligations. Some information may be retained where we have a legal basis or obligation to keep it.
